Caraway International is proud to celebrate an extraordinary milestone as Chef Sharon was officially inducted into the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs as a Chef Rôtisseur. This induction, held during the 10th anniversary of World Chaine Day at The Capital Zimbali Resort, is more than just a personal achievement—it’s a moment of pride for the entire Caraway family. The Chaîne, a globally recognised gastronomic society, invites only distinguished professionals and passionate gastronomes into its ranks, making this an exceptional honour and a true testament to Chef Sharon’s dedication to her craft.
What is the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and Why It Matters
The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is the oldest and most prestigious food and wine society in the world, with origins dating back to 1248 in France. With a mission to promote fine dining and the culinary arts across the globe, the Chaîne celebrates excellence, tradition, and camaraderie at the table.
Being invited to join this esteemed organisation is not a standard application process. Membership is by invitation only, and induction as a Chef Rôtisseur signifies professional recognition of the highest calibre. It is a marker of both skill and contribution to the culinary industry.
